As part of Foodwave in Lewes, we’re bringing you an afternoon of dark beers, fresh oysters and good food.

Oyster Borough will be shucking fresh oysters all afternoon, with a selection of dark beers from Beak, Donzoko and more to pair alongside them.

Not a fan of oysters? No problem. A Taste of Punjab will also be joining us, serving up their mouthwatering Indian street food all afternoon.

FLINT - FOURMAN BREWERY - 4.8% Nitro Porter - Hoppy porter with flavours of raisins, coffee and chocolate.

OYSTER STOUT - DONZOKO - 6% - Rich and roasty, bringing notes of coffee and chocolate while the addition of fresh Lindisfarne Oysters in the boil give a satisfying umami finish.

EL CAPITAN - BULLHOUSE BREW CO. 7.5% Export Stout - An old Bullhouse classic from the early days of brewing in the Bull’s House - this was our first big stout and a fan favourite. Rich and moreish to get you through the cold, damp and dark months.

STACKS - BEAK X EVIL TWIN - 10%  Imperial Stout - A thick and unctuous Imperial Stout brewed with modern craft pioneers Evil Twin out of New York. In the spirit of their Even More ethos, it’s packed with cacao nibs, toasted coconut, Madagascan vanilla, and vegan Marshmallows. Expect liquid dessert.
