BEAK BREWERY BOARD GAME COLLECTION

We have a small but mighty collection of board games to play at The Beak Brewery Taproom! Here's what we currently have available.

Munchkin Deluxe – 3-6 Players, 1-2 Hours
“Kill the Monsters, Steal the Treasure, Stab Your Buddy!” Munchkin is a game of card management in a dungeon-crawling setting. Help others for a cut of their loot, or you can betray them by giving them more monsters in your hand to fight! Get to the hoard at the end before everyone else to win the game! Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Bananagrams – 1-8 Players, 30 minutes
Bananagrams is a game with letter tiles, challenging players to create as many words as possible with their letters. The first player to use up all their letters will win the game after passing inspection from their fellow players. Suitable for ages 7 and up.

Kingdomino – 2-4 Players, 15-30 minutes
If you’re familiar with Carcassonne, Kingdomino is what would happen if Carcassonne and Dominos had a baby. Line up the tiles to match the environments to build up your kingdom, collecting crowns to earn points and win the game. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Azul – 2-4 Players, 45 minutes
Azul is an award-winning tile-based game inspired by azulejos–Moorish ceramic tilework. Azul challenges players to create a score-winning design to earn the most points. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Monopoly Deal – 2-5 Players, 15-20 minutes
A card game based on the popular board game, Monopoly Deal is a deck-building game in which you collect properties and play action cards to get ahead of the other players. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Carcassonne – 2-5 Players, 30-45 minutes
Manage your meeples, complete your cities and create expansive farmlands with this classic tile-laying game to score the most points with your section of French countryside. Suitable for ages 7 and up.

Settlers of Catan – 3-4 Players, 60-120 minutes
Collect and trade resources to build up your roads and settlements to take over as much of the island as you can in this award-winning, classic board game. Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Forbidden Island – 2-4 Players, 30-45 minutes
This is a co-operative game where you work with your teammates to get as much treasure as you can from a rapidly sinking island. Will you be able to get all of the treasure and get off the island? Or will your greed get the better of you? Be sure to leave a way to get to the rescue helicopter! Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Skull – 3-6 Players, 15-45 minutes
A game of artful bluffing and bidding, Skull features some stunning artwork on cards not too dissimilar to beer mats (but please don’t put your beer on them!). If you play your cards right, you can fool everyone and beat the game, but be prepared for someone to challenge you and show what you really have laid out! Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Sushi Go Party – 2-8 Players, 20-30 minutes
Sushi Go Party is a super cute card game where you’re putting together winning meal combos featuring sushi, sashimi, dumplings, tempura and more. Earn points at the end of each course and the person who scores the most at the end of the meal wins! Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Citadels – 2-8 Players, 30-60 minutes
A game heartily recommended by Max, our game-loving brewer, Citadels is a game in which players compete to make the finest mediaeval city by earning gold and getting the help of various characters who will enable you with special tricks such as the Spy, Magician, Patrician or the Wizard. Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Score 4 (Connect Four) – 2 Players, 10-15 minutes
A classic game well-suited to play with children, this is a fun game that challenges players to create a row of four of the same colour of discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win. Suitable for ages 5 and up.

Shut the Box – 2 Players, 10-15 minutes
Shut the Box is a brilliant.ly simple game to play, with the objective of being the player who manages to flip down the last number or numbers as rolled by the dice. Great for young learners, or for folks who want to play something without thinking too hard (we’ve all had those moments). Suitable for ages 5 and up.

Planet Puzzle – 1-2 Players, 5-10 minutes Arrange the 10 planets that act as gears to fit in with each other to turn with the 5 piece keys. This is a lovely puzzle game for children to encourage them to use their reasoning skills and trial and error to place the gears correctly for all of them to turn. Suitable for ages 3 and up.

Dominoes – 2-4 Players, 10-15 minutes
The classic! This is a standard Double Six Dominoes set you’ll frequently find in pubs throughout, suitable to play one-on-one or with two against two. Suitable for ages 3 and up.

Stackable Crazy Cats – 1-2 Players, 5-10 minutes
The object of this puzzle game is to stack the wooden cat figures as high as you can! There are 9 wooden cats to arrange in unique ways on top of each other through trial and error. Balance them well, or watch them tumble! Suitable for ages 3 and up.
