Come and learn how to weave at Beak Brewery this winter.

This workshop offers the opportunity to learn the traditional skill of handweaving from POP studio's Poppy Fuller Abbott

Poppy will teach you how to set up a frame loom and demonstrate different weaving techniques. Once you are confident weaving, you will create a small woven artwork which you can take home.

We will be working with natural fibres which have been hand-dyed using plants, some of which are grown locally or sustainably foraged.

This workshop is beginner friendly but experienced weavers are also welcome.

We will be working with a range of plant and animal fibres, if you would prefer not to use wool, vegan yarn options are available. You are welcome to bring in additional materials to weave with if you would like.

Your ticket includes tuition, a selection of hand-dyed yarn to weave with, and a drink of your choice from the Beak Taproom.
