This bottle was Little Pomona's first serious experiment with Yarlington Mill and their first release using it as a single variety.
The fruit was grown and handpicked by the team at Hill Farm, south of Hereford City, from amazing orchards planted in the 1980s. Originating in Somerset, Yarlington Mill has become the epitome of West Country cider apples – a riotous explosion of pure phenolic joy!
This example shows all of the best characteristics of the variety – baking spice, leather, sweet hay, big cuddly tannins and lots and lots of juicy orange and apricot. It’s unmistakeably a drink from a farm and all the better for it.
So, standing in a field listening to music, or with a plate of cheese, or a pork bun or spicy wings, this is an absolutely killer bottle.
Serve cold. GF. VF. No added sulphites. 7.3% abv. 750ml.
